This
is Bruce at around 6 weeks old on his first day home from
the RSPCA. Its also the first time he met his Grandad Smith
(pictured). |
| |
| |
Bruce
was lived till 16 years old, which is really quite old in
dog years. |
| |
| |
He
was a very gentle dog with bundles of character and loved
lying in his favourite spot in the conservatory. |
| |
| |
Here,
pictured again in his favourite spot he would look out at
the garden and keep a lookout for people coming home, squirrels
or pussycats. |
| |
| |
This
is pussycat Sue, all Bruce wanted to do was have a sniff and
she's strut up and down taunting him. The second he got too
close she'd give him a swipe with her paw, she's evil! |
| |
| |
After
a hard day watching the garden he'd have a nap or two |
| |
| |
Bruce
loved to be outside in the garden. |
| |
| |
Rolling
around with his toys or chew stick on a sunny day. |
| |
| |
This
is him panting. |
| |
| |
Bruce
loved food and loved meatys. This is him coveting some Hammy
Meatys. |
| |
| |
This
is him coveting Fish & Chips . . . |
| |
| |
.
. . and a malteser |
| |
| |
He
loved going out in the snow . . . |
| |
| |
.
. . as long as someone dried his paws when he got home. |
| |
| |
He
wasn't too keen on dressing up. Really wasn't keen at all
on this Santa hat. |
| |
| |
Especially
wasn't keen on his Rudolf ears . . . |
| |
| |
.
. . but he loved Christmas and loved opening his pressies. |
| |
| |
Bruce
has been gone over a year now and we still think of him often
and now you know a bit more about him too. |
